This weeks Australian Issue of Grazia magazine features Kristen on the front cover with caption "Face of the new decade...Setting her own style" I think she is gorgeous, but clearly in the photo, she does not look the slightest bit interested. I think she still struggles with all the fame and attention she is getting from Twilight, and the article even states how she used to be nervous about how she would look in photos and stuff. No wonder, with magazines like this making a big deal about her clothes, and putting the pressure on. Hense my last post, clearly the outfit is not the best, just because she is wearing designer clothes doesn't mean it's worth doing an article in a High Fashion Mag. She may be one of the most famous ppl in the World atm, but why do we have to assume she is Fashion conscious just beacuse she is in a commercial Movie? Ease off I say, a lot of the time, she gets it wrong, and she does look uncomfortable. Just because Emma whats her name from Harry Potter is into Haute Couture, doesn't mean Kristen has to follow suit. Actually one magazine a few months back, had a 2 page spread about "Kristen vs Emma who will win in the style stakes?" LOL who fuckin cares really.

Kristen Stewart, not a style Icon
Saw Kristen Stewart in some wacky, tacky outfit by Proenza Schouler at a London New Moon promo. I do feel sorry for her, she has to be some sort of style icon now, I bet she is not even interested! Saw a pic of her in this lime green, leopard 90's outfit gone wrong. We all know she is comfortable in jeans and converse.

Hey, Hey, Who give's a crap?
FOR GOODNESS SAKE.......Why all the political correctness these days? First it was Kyle Sandilands and his comments about Madga Subanskis weight (a dumb thing to say, but hardly an attack on Jew's, he wouldn't have even had a clue about her family background) then Brendan Fevola's drunken antics at the Brownlow. (I cannot stand him, but we all know most footballer's would have been hammered that night, t'was bad luck for him he got on tape) I don't follow Sport at all, but I feel sorry for all the player's, they can NEVER go out and have a bit of fun, without having to "apologise" for their behaviour. Every Sportsman out there is at risk every time they go off the field, I think they should permanently wear a T-shirt, apologising in advance, for whatever reason someone decides to personally attack them.

And of course, we get to Harry Connick Jnr's over the top reaction to the Red Faces skit on Hey, Hey, It's Saturday. I can see how he took offence, a group of men coming out dressed as Golliwog's wont have a warm welcoming, but forcing Daryl Somer's to apologise to him on air, (having discussed it in an ad break) for something he had no control over, was a skit relating to Michael Jackson's career and was a comeback skit from previous years, and saying, I quote "If I knew it was going to happen, I wouldn't have come on the show, it would be Hey, Hey,' It's Over" is ridiculous and selfish. Now us Aussies are labelled racists because we don't see a problem with the skit? I am sure if Harry was reading this blog, he would accuse me of being racist too, because I am not taking his side. (And if you're a political Hippy, please leave site NOW) Of course when the reporter's questioned him at the Airport, he was tongue tied....my Fiance and I, always thought Harry was an ok bloke, but now he has just embarrassed Australia for something so ridiculous and pointless. Thanks Harry, you have probably lost ticket sales for your next concert here......
Aussie Beauty and the Geek
The Aussie version of Beauty and the Geek aired tonight, t'was better than what I thought, though the challenges are clearly going to be the same as the American version. I want Nathan to win and his partner looks like Kiki Vidis! She is copping alot of criticism though...Sorry, but Xenogene reminds me of my first kiss at sweet 16, creepy! Oh, and the beauties have gone into peroxide and orange skin overload, and some of 'em were clearly born bitche's!

Lavender: In Food
Aaahhhh, who would have thought you could eat a flower and be so bloody tasty? I have had rose chocolate and violet chocolate from Haigh's, but nothing beat's Lavender in food. I first tried it a few years ago, went to a Lavender farm in the Country, and had lavender ice cream, I was pretty satisfied. I thought it was so rare, I never thought about it again, up until about 2 years ago, visiting another country town and an old style lolly and chocolate shop, they had lavender chocolate. Over the road was a lavender shop, and they had chocolate's with lavender runny cream (best by far in choc) Then down the road, another lavender farm, where I had more lavender ice cream.....Lavender food is still not easy to come by, obviously you cannot get it in the local supermarket, you pretty much do have to visit the country, but it seems to be distributed a fair bit nowadays, and more and more ppl are turning a paddock full of it, into a sight and shop and cafe. Good on em'!! Anyway, I was given a cupcake making book by my mother a while ago, and there was a recipe for lavender cupcakes. The Royal Melbourne Show was a few week's ago, and many Lavender's Farm owner's had set up stall's, and sold a few products.I managed to get a choc bar, (was a bit disappointing, it had bloomed, but still tasty) and a lavender lollypop which I am still yet to lick at. I bought dried lavender flowers for culinary use, so a few weeks later, I made the cupcakes!!! Best I have ever had and ,ade myself (not being arrogant)

Make up and Style Icon's
Went out recently and I wore a snazzy little Peacock top. One of my compulsions is colour co-ordination way too much, so my outfit was mainly green, apart from my jeans. I did my eyes in 3 shades of Green. "Napolean" was used in the middle, and "Australis" was on either end. I think green eyeshadow suit's me best, and I did it quite dramatic. In the last image, I am wearing a black head scarf, still trying to disguise my bad haircut lol.I think it's very Vintage Lolita, eh?

Btw, I just uploaded my latest slideshow for Youtube, a Tribute to all the fabulous Fashionista's. take a look......

Tall, dark and handsome.
So I have been crushing on a few dark haired guys lately, normally I go for fairer hair. I love James Franco, he's such a dag but sexy, and has a cute smile, which normally I couldn't care less about, but he does look pretty charming with it. I think Zach Braff is adorable, he is just so funny and stupid,(in a good way) to watch. Then there's the nerdy Bajo from Good Game. As you can tell, I have a type lol....
