FOR GOODNESS SAKE.......Why all the political correctness these days? First it was Kyle Sandilands and his comments about Madga Subanskis weight (a dumb thing to say, but hardly an attack on Jew's, he wouldn't have even had a clue about her family background) then Brendan Fevola's drunken antics at the Brownlow. (I cannot stand him, but we all know most footballer's would have been hammered that night, t'was bad luck for him he got on tape) I don't follow Sport at all, but I feel sorry for all the player's, they can NEVER go out and have a bit of fun, without having to "apologise" for their behaviour. Every Sportsman out there is at risk every time they go off the field, I think they should permanently wear a T-shirt, apologising in advance, for whatever reason someone decides to personally attack them.

And of course, we get to Harry Connick Jnr's over the top reaction to the Red Faces skit on Hey, Hey, It's Saturday. I can see how he took offence, a group of men coming out dressed as Golliwog's wont have a warm welcoming, but forcing Daryl Somer's to apologise to him on air, (having discussed it in an ad break) for something he had no control over, was a skit relating to Michael Jackson's career and was a comeback skit from previous years, and saying, I quote "If I knew it was going to happen, I wouldn't have come on the show, it would be Hey, Hey,' It's Over" is ridiculous and selfish. Now us Aussies are labelled racists because we don't see a problem with the skit? I am sure if Harry was reading this blog, he would accuse me of being racist too, because I am not taking his side. (And if you're a political Hippy, please leave site NOW) Of course when the reporter's questioned him at the Airport, he was tongue tied....my Fiance and I, always thought Harry was an ok bloke, but now he has just embarrassed Australia for something so ridiculous and pointless. Thanks Harry, you have probably lost ticket sales for your next concert here......
